According to an exclusive published this morning by one football one of the most sought-after 16-year-olds on the market this summer has had a trial with Chelsea this week. Fatawu Ganiwu, a top Ghanaian talent, has accepted a trial invite to Cobham, where he will begin working with Chelsea’s equivalent age groups this week.
The 16years old had trials with a number of clubs this summer, including RB Salzburg, who has a strong record for acquiring the top West African talent at this age. He’s a defensive midfielder with a promising future in the game. According to other reports, he played 25 minutes in an Under-18 friendly. That will have given the personnel a good picture of how he performs in an academy environment.
