Senate spokesperson, Yemi Adaramodu has confirmed the death of the Senator representing Anambra South, Ifeanyi Ubah.
Senator Ubah who recently defected from the Young Progressives Party, YPP to the ruling All Progressives Congress, APC died in a London hotel in United Kingdom two days after leaving Nigeria.
Ubah who contested the 2014 Governorship election in Anambra State under the Labour Party, LP died at the age of 52 reportedly of cardiac arrest. As also reported by AIT
In September 2022, Ubah escaped assassination when he was attacked by gunmen on his way to Nnewi in Enugwu-Ukwu in Anambra State.
His convoy was shot at, and at least five persons, including two policemen, were killed
